Can Essiac Tea Control Cancer?

What can you tell me about "Essiac tea" for cancer treatment? Is it the same as "Flor•Essence"? Is either of them worthwhile for someone undergoing chemotherapy?
Essiac (pronounced "EH-see-ak") tea was first popularized in Canada in the 1920s by a nurse named Renée Caisse who heard about it from a woman who claimed that her breast cancer had been cured with an herbal brew prepared by an Objibwa healer.
